This striking necklace pairs a long Italian-made 9ct yellow gold chain with a beautifully set 9ct yellow gold natural almandine garnet cross.

The 70cm Italian chain features an elegant alternating link design, giving it a little more character than a traditional chain while remaining timeless and easy to wear.

Weighing 7.8 grams, it has a lovely presence and is substantial enough to be worn beautifully on its own.

Suspended from the chain is a 9ct yellow gold cross set with seven oval-cut natural almandine garnets. The garnets display rich warm red tones with beautiful flashes of fiery red-orange as they catch the light. Their open-backed settings allow light to pass through the stones, highlighting the variations of colour within each garnet.

At 70cm (approximately 28 inches), the longer chain allows the cross to sit lower on the décolletage and also makes it ideal for layering with shorter necklaces.
