Returns Policy

We want you to feel completely confident when purchasing your jewellery from Scoute.

We understand that buying fine jewellery online is different from seeing and trying on a piece in person. Sometimes a piece simply may not feel quite right once you see it for yourself.

 

7-Day Returns

For eligible online purchases, Scoute offers a 7-day change-of-mind return period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the jewellery must:

• Be unworn and in the same condition in which it was received

• Not have been resized, altered, repaired or modified in any way

• Be returned in its original Scoute packaging

• Include any valuation, certificate or other documentation supplied with the piece

Please contact Scoute within 7 days of delivery before returning your jewellery. Returns sent without prior contact may not be accepted.

Return Postage

Change-of-mind return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser. As fine jewellery is valuable, we strongly recommend using a tracked, insured and signature-required delivery service. Scoute cannot accept responsibility for an item lost or damaged while being returned.

Once your return has been received and inspected, an eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Original shipping costs, where applicable, are not refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Many of our pieces are unique, one-of-a-kind or pre-loved. We provide detailed photographs, descriptions, measurements and valuation information wherever available to help you choose with confidence.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this change-of-mind returns policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, your rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law will continue to apply.
